Sync4j woe

So Sync4j finally works for me, but doesn’t sync with the Nokia 6600.

I have a bug posted on the project page at Sourceforge.

I hope it’s something fixable.

UPDATE: Sync4J 1.2 is going to be released soon. Read more for the bug log.

It’s in CVS, not yet in a released. We plan to release
Sync4j 1.2 by the end of the week.

Bug #860184 was resolved as fixed.

I fetched the newest release available — the bug still is present.
Is there another release pending, or do I need to fetch a current
try and build it?

Duplicate of bug #860184

isync for nokia 6310iThis is kind of a cheap shot fired by me, but you still cannot, a year later, iSync a Nokia 6310i. You probably never will be able to.

So what I’m going to say here is the only option for managing the phonebook, SMS, WAP bookmarks and more (which is already more than iSync can do).

You need to buy PhoneManager from Mac Media. It does all that and more. You can’t beat it with a stick and the price is quite appropriate. If you really like your Nokia 6310i (and what’s not to like?!) but have been frustrated with the lack of support in iSync, you need to go swing to PhoneManager for resolution.

Happy iSyncing your Nokia 6600!

bear with the empty entriesstill experimenting with Kablog and my 6600. something seems to be amiss. i’ll be very pleased once its working, but the .jpeg files seem to be butchered somehow in transport.

very weird.

mobilewhack launchyou should start reading mobilewhack every day.

the website deals with milking the most out of your mobile devices.

a lot of my gadgeteering will continue on over there.

kablog for series60i’m testing “kablog” for series 60 mobile phones, but it doesn’t seem to work right. everything else does; hence the test message from NetNewsWire.

i’m rather bummed out by this. it has to be something i’m doing, or kablog doesn’t work with the 6600 yet.

speaking of 6600; i’ll have a review online at PowerPage soon.

phoneagent reviewPhoneAgent for the Sony Ericsson T610 is a neat program to manage data on the T610.

I wrote a review of sorts on PowerPage.
